Hey, I'm Sage and I'm just glad you're here. I'm a teen who believes in our generation and I believe that we can do anything we want. That being said, I'm a native New Yorker residing in Atlanta, Georgia (new metropolis of the south. Ew). I've been writing since I could first hold something to write with and have ran with the gig ever since. Umm... I am one of those people who believe that we as teens should be able to be heard and get the attention we deserve. If the generations before us won't do as much for us, we've got to do for ourselves.

I'm all for freedom of expression and I believe in a perfect society, but I don't believe in the freedom of expression when it oppresses other's freedom of expression and I don't believe in a perfect society where freedom to choose is taken away.

I'm an avid Avatar: The Last Airbender fan and I love all kinds of music.

My writing revolves around a lot of characters usually of mixed ethnicities. I'm sort of an activist for the rights of ethnically-mixed/ambiguous to choose what they are labeled as, whether or not they want to take a label at all, or creating their own label if none other fits.

And they're almost always gay. Write what you know, they say Wink

I'll try and say things that are as interesting as what you said, Sage xD

My name is Carley! I'm seventeen (eighteen in four months!!) And I write fiction about gay boys and girls. Obviously.

I wouldn't say that I'm gay, lesbian (whatever) because I really don't think I am. I'm just going to go with one foot is on the other side of the fence. It kind of gets confusing sometimes, but I shall sort it all out later!

In person, I'm extremely shy, unless I've known you a while. I don't even have a lot of friends, but that's fine with me.

The two most amazing people in the world are Sage and Doug!! It just sucks that Sage lives on the other side of the country, and Doug lives in a DIFFERENT country Sad

One day we will meet! And the world will discover our awesomeness.

I have a big interest in different languages. Being able to only speak English is pretty boring. I really want to be able to speak fluent Japanese, Swedish and Spanish. Russian, German, and French would be pretty cool too ^_^ So yeah... I want to be an interpreter later in life, but first get my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

SO YEAH! If you can help me with any languages, I would love you forever. I've already got a good start with Japanese ^_^

I really don't know what else to put here. I'm kind of just rambling about things nobody even cares about.

I am 15, and I love to write - poetry, essays, random articles, letters to people, and original fiction..though most of it is slash Very Happy

I really want to submit an essay with gay characters in it to my nearly homophobic "Christian" teacher to freak her out. Yes, I know it's not the nicest thing about me, but I despise homophobes!

In fact, my dislike is not directed only towards people who discriminate because of a person's sexual preference, but also towards people who discriminate at all. Discrimination against people because of their colour, race, nationality, sex, whatever it is. I believe that people can be categorized, if needed to be at all, it should be done according to their moral values.

Sometimes, when I think of the wrongs being done around me, I become very human hating - as in, misanthropic. Why not indeed? What do we humans have worth loving? But then I think of the people I do love...and I wonder why i love them. Hurt would never exist if we would not have loved. But does that stop us from loving people? Well, it has never stopped me!

I can be overly sensitive at times, and I am definitely monophobic..I can't bear to be alone. I am not insecure, but I feel really lonely whenever I'm left alone and I'm allowed to think. Yayy, teen angst! *shuckz*

I don't like labelling things, but people who do, would call me a tom-boy. But, I hate being called that. Yes, I wear clothes worthy of being owned by a boy, I am more into sports than a lot of boys, I don't worry about nails or boyfriends, but so what?!? All of this makes me ME!

Also, I don't believe in having a different boyfriend every week. The idea is disgusting you see. I think that people really make a mockery of dating by doing it just to show every one else. I think that we should date only when we realy like someone..not just for sex and the popularity.

This brings me to say that..yet again I hate labeling myself..I like both girls and boys. And that's because I do not think that a person's "sex" is something that should matter when we fall in love - we fall in love with the heart, not with the person, right?
